This 8-day adventure combines grounding yoga flows with active explorations of the diverse and beautiful landscapes of Morocco. We start in Marrakech and south to the Kasbah village of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site part of ancient trade routes. We then make our way into the Sahara desert to a Berber camp, complete with a camel ride, an oasis excursion and music under the stars. On our way back to Marrakech, we stop at Berber women’s textile co-op and learn about the important work they do in their community. On our last leg we return to the bustling city of Marrakech, and explore the souks & crafts throughout the medina. October 2019 instructor Jade Witham moved to Morocco in 2014 and has been discovering the country and its amazing culture ever since. A lover of travel, food and yoga Jade has attended yoga teacher trainings in Morocco and India, which has helped her develop a unique teaching style with emphasis on fun, self-love, body positivity, and curiosity. March 2020 instructor Leti Alvarez began her yoga journey years ago and offers empowering, inspiring flows that encourage students to explore and connect with their deeper authentic self. Leti meets students exactly where they are and encourages them to embrace their own unique experiences. October 2020 Sophia Hock has been practicing yoga on the mat for over 20 years and has found solace in taking her practice to a deeper level by learning how to integrate yoga into her daily life on and off the mat through meditation and mindfulness principles.read more

The Journey

Day 1

Arrival & Welcome Dinner

Arrive in at Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) by 4 p.m. and your driver will take to your accommodations just outside the city with beautiful terraces and atrium gardens. Settle in, rest up, and enjoy our Welcome Dinner to meet your host and guides for the week. We will close out our evening with a grounding post-travel flow & meditation.

Day 2

Ait Ben Haddou

This morning we’ll hit the road early for our Sahara Desert excursion. We'll first visit the striking Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage listed city that once had an important position in the trans-Saharan trade route. We’ll have lunch at a locally-owned restaurant before exploring the ancient village together. After a little more time on the road, we’ll stay just outside town where we’ll enjoy a grounding flow and a traditional Moroccan dinner.read more

Day 3

Sahara Desert & Camel Ride

After yoga on the terrace & breakfast we’ll hop back in our 4x4s to traverse the Atlas Mountains. We’ll drive a few hours before lunch then offroad our way in the sand into our Berber camp in time for yoga & a sunset camel ride. After settling in, we’ll stretch out with yoga before a delicious desert meal and campfire against a beautiful backdrop of stars & traditional Moroccan music.

Day 4

Sahara Desert & Oasis Excursion

After sunrise yoga on carpets in the sand, we'll enjoy breakfast, then the day is yours to choose your desert adventure! You can stay at camp for some rest or get out and dune surf. Or, you can join for our group excursion to an oasis for a picnic lunch and games! We’ll meet back up in the evening for yoga, home made dinner and another night of music under the stars.

Day 5

Berber textile co-op

After another morning of yoga in the desert, we’ll say goodbye to our camp and hop back in the 4x4s. We’ll drive a few hours to our community partner, a women’s textile co-op where we’ll learn about local crafting traditions that boosts the livelihoods of women throughout the area and preserves generation of craft. We'll enjoy a traditional lunch there before we make our way back to Marrakech to enjoy an evening grounding meditation after dinner.

Day 6

Souks & Art in Marrakech

We'll start with an energizing morning flow & breakfast, then explore Marrakech’s vibrant souks (markets) and have the opportunity to see some of the city’s landmark sites including the Moorish Medersa ben Youssef, the opulent Bahia Palace and the picturesque Jewish Quarter. We'll pass through the famous Jemaa el Fna and you'll have time in the afternoon for your own explorations before evening yoga. Day 7

Hamman Spa & Shopping

After a not-too-early yoga & breakfast we'll have special treat - a visit to a hammam, or spa, where you’ll soak in the baths and receive a scrub treatment and have options for massage. After, the rest of the day is yours for shopping & exploring before evening yoga and our farewell dinner.

Day 8


We will offer extra early yoga this morning before departures to the Marrakech airport.
