Welcome to Quito. Our staff will pick you up at the airport and transport you to a comfortable hotel in the capital city.
Get to know the first city to be declared a Unesco Human Heritage. Visit its marvelous cathedrals, historic streets, and hidden architectural beauties. The tour will be followed by a car cruise through the spectacular Ecuadorian mountains to Hacienda el Porvenir.
You will get acquainted with your horse in a way you have never done before. After learning to saddle and ready your horse, an adyllic horseback ride will get you across mystic highlands and páramos at the base of an extinguished volcano. After that, we will have a presentation of the content of the program and prepare for a transformational conversation.
Enjoy an adventurous bike ride in the lower skirts of the Cotopaxi Volcano to El Tambo and its pristine surroundings.
Plunge into a life-changing solitary experience in the highlands of the Andes range, where you will experience a quest to fiond yourself in the mountains. We will ask you to write about your life at the end of the experience and form an action plan to envision your life based on what you lived and learned on this day.
In the morning we are going to have a debrief of your solo experience and after that you will be served a tasty breakfast meal. We leave early El Tambo house and begin our return to civilization. The first 20 km (12.42 miles) have a slight uphill inclination and short climbing portions. Once we reach El Encañonado, the road flows downhill and the bike can roll fluently without much physical effort. Box Lunch. Early rise for a long day of transportation, by car, plane and car again until we get to one of the biggest virgin jungles of the world. When we arrived we are going to do a wrap up about the experience to see if we can find things that can be improved in our lives. B,L,D
Allow yourself the experience of a real jungle hike, surrounded by magnificent fauna and colorful creatures until getting to one of the most marvelous views of the Ecuadorian jungle.With some luck, we can spot a pink amazon dolphins or maybe even a manatee. Once the curtain of night falls after dinner, you will silently head out onto the lake again; this time in search of caimans. You can spot them with flashlights, reflecting in their eyes like bright orange lights. Submerge in a deeply transformative cultural experience within an indigenous community, get to know their way of living. At night we take you on a walk through the woods with a flashlight. During such walks, we may find some of the strangest creatures. Tree frogs are everywhere, but it is a bit difficult to spot them, although you might catch a glimpse of their harmonious tunes. B,L,D
