The Journey

Day 1


Transfer from the airport or hotel to Lake Tefé port, where you will boat for approximately 1 hour up to the floating lodge. After you check-in and hear a short presentation about the space, you will explore the area by trail or canoe (it will depend on the season). You will return at the end of the day for dinner and enjoy a presentation about the history of the Mamirauá Reserve and all the projects that take place in it.read more

Day 2

DIA 2 – Amazons Trails e Riverside Communities (B, L, D)

After breakfast, it's time to visit one of the local riverside communities. A local guide will explain the daily lives of the inhabitants of this forest who are often required to adapt due to the forest's water levels (that vary about 12 meters according to the season). After lunch and time to rest, you will go by trail or canoe to explore the region. You will return to the lodge for dinner, after which you will go on an evening experience in the forest (around 7:00pm). Discover, observe, and listen to the different inhabitants of this environment at night.read more

Day 3

DAY 3 – Canoeing + Mamirauá Lake nightlight spot (B, L, D)

In the morning, depart for a canoe through the streams around the lodge and observe the flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem. After lunch and time for rest, you will depart for a boat trip on Lake Mamirauá. This will be your longest journey in the reserve and you will learn more about the history of the area directly from the local guides. After sunset, on the way back, you might see some nocturnal animals.read more

Day 4


The time to say goodbye to Uakari Lodge has come. You will have an early breakfast at 5:30 am and depart at 6:00am for Tefé (airport or hotel).
